Regular bus services to Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Razlog, Yakoruda, Plovdiv, Pazardjik, Velingrad, Yundola, Dobrinishte and Gotse Delchev. Belitsa is a station on the narrow-gauge railroad line from Septemvri (Pazardjik) to Dobrinishte.

The entry point to Rila National Park is located 2 km. from the supporting outer wall of Belmeken Dam, in the immediate vicinity of the Belmeken alpine sports center of the State Agency for Youth and Sports. There is a checkpoint at the very boundary of the Park. |

The National Park boundary is 4 km. by gravel road from the Kostenets resort village.

From Borovets, 25’ by lift to Yastrebets Peak, then 1 h walk to Mussala Chalet. |
The Borovets resort complex is 70 km. from Sofia, 10 km. from Samokov and 27 km. from Kostenets. There are regular bus services to and from all these places. |
